Girls hockey skates to victory

Senior Autumn Cooper shoots the puck in the first period at Superior Ice Arena. Cooper scored four goals to lead the Spartans to a 5-2 victory.

On Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023 girls varsity hockey beat the Moose Lake Rebels 5-2 at their home opener. Senior captain Autumn Cooper scored 4 out of the 5 goals for the Spartans. Junior forward Makaela Reinke scored a goal to put the Spartans ahead in the second period.  Watch them at home on Tuesday, Dec. 12 when they host the North Shore Storm at Superior Ice Arena at 7 p.m.
