Superior Spartan Wrestlers traveled to Northwestern on Dec. 7, 2023 to take on the Hayward/Northwood Hurricanes and the Northwestern Tigers in a triangular meet. The Spartans fell to Hayward/Northwood 70-12 in their first dual of the night. Spartans then wrestled Northwestern but were defeated 48-36. During the overall rough night junior Fjeordi Johnson received two pins against his competition in the 126 lbs weight class.
