Another year in the wraps for Fall Ball, the comfortable but high-speed high school dance that defines each day leading up to it, until finally, SHS students are able to dress up at their heart’s content, take a date or a group of friends, and enjoy themselves for a few long hours. On Oct. 19, the Yellowjacket Union building hosted students coming to this year’s Fall Ball event, where the night’s events; music, snack and drink catering, and wacky-hat picture taking went off without a hitch.

The lines formed and extended throughout the Yellow Jacket Union staircase to the front doors the second the clock struck 6 p.m and the festivities only ceased when 9 p.m came around, signaling this year’s Fall Ball’s end.

“I enjoyed dancing with my new friends I made while I was there,” junior Raven Mickelson said.
