The Spartans came up short taking a 9-8 loss to the Hermantown Hawks on April 28, 2026. The Spartans went down early in the game after a three run homerun by a Hawk in the second inning of the game. In the sixth inning Hermantown took a 8-0 lead but the Spartans did not back down, rallying 8 runs to tie the game. Hermantown ended up winning the game with a walkoff homerun at the end. The Spartans are back in action tonight April 29, 2026 against the Cloquet Lumberjacks.
