To have a conversation with Tylee Savoye is like having a conversation with a teddy bear holding a heart full of love with the warm light of sunshine beaming down acting as a cuddly blanket, never making the space feel confined. She is always open to inviting people into her friend group and never makes them feel unincluded.
Savoye expresses herself as bubbly, kind, outgoing, creative and dedicated. She always finds a way to create joy in places that are in the lowlight. Creating embarrassment helps to make the space more comfortable for others. Savoye explains how embarrassing yourself can open up new opportunities to make friends and interact with others.
“Embarrassing yourself as much as possible makes the other person feel more comfortable; complimenting them and being extra super duper bubbly,” Savoye said.
Savoye has a lot of responsibilities to maintain throughout her high school career. This year, she is involved in many leadership groups, such as the Student Athletic Leadership Council, and she is also a freshman mentor.

Savoye participates in a lot of sport-related activities, such as participating in athletic development almost every night, and she participates in club volleyball. In the fall she managed high school volleyball and in the spring she managed lacrosse.
Maintaining all those responsibilities makes Savoye a more well rounded person because she also makes sure to share her kindness while balancing her life.
Keeping everything organized can be a struggle. Savoye has a specialty in organizing her time. She always carries around her planner to keep track of her busy schedule. With that, she always tries to keep a positive attitude. She plans her whole day, and almost never forgets her daily tasks.
“She is always willing to offer a helping hand and complete the tasks given to her the best she possibly can,” Sophomore Leighton Hanson said.
After school, Savoye is always excited to get into the weight room and socialize with the younger girls. When new underclassmen come into the weight room for the afternoon lift, Savoye is always the first to introduce herself. That way, she is able to make a good impression. Savoye encourages more women to participate in the afternoon activities because she wants the space to feel more like a second home rather than an intense forceful environment.

“Tylee radiates joy, it is impossible to be in a bad mood when [she’s] around,” Spartans Football head coach Rob Scott said.
Everything that she puts her mind to, she finds a way to achieve it. She never gets discouraged or let down by an insult because she finds a way to remain in a positive state of mind. Savoye knows how to make a stressful situation into a happy one through encouraging compliments and spreading positivity.
“I don’t want anyone to feel like they’re alone in the world because the world is so big and we’re all in it together,” Savoye said.
