As students enter the weight room for their after school training, AC/DC radiates through the school like an entrance to WrestleMania.

Participants often say it’s important to go to Spartan Athletic Development because you can see the growth in your performance. And even though you miss out on some free time with friends and family, you’re still spending time with friends in the weight room, helping each other improve themselves.

“Developing is the bare minimum for high school athletes and this program provides that for students in and out of season year round,” Coach Rob Scott said. “Our program teaches consistency, becoming comfortable with being uncomfortable, and finding a sense of team and unity.”

My confidence levels have really grown because I was really nervous to start going at first but now that I’ve been actually going I’ve felt a lot more comfortable being there and you can make a lot of friends and become closer with each other and know more about each other. I genuinely just love to work out and move my body throughout the day,” 8th grader Grady Hudson said.
“I continue to lift during and after school to better myself on and off the field,” sophomore Tripp Row said.
No matter how much a student has lifted in the past, everyone in there is accepting and pushes athletes to become better in and out of the weight room.
