On Apr. 4, the track team held the Packy Paquette Memorial Invite at the University of Wisconsin Superior Fieldhouse.
As a result of the invitational meet format, three athletes were chosen for each event from each school, including some wild cards.
Senior Jacob Lind and junior Tayler McMeekin lead the Spartans during the meet both winning 2nd place in their events.
Lind competed in the Boys 400 meter race with a time of 54.08 seconds beating Rice Lake by 0.77 seconds.
McMeekin competed in the girls 1600 meter race placing second with a time of five minutes and 38.52 seconds beating Sophomore Elena Almonte who placed third.
