The Varsity Baseball team fell short of the victory against the Cloquet losing 4-3 on Apr. 18, 2023. The Varsity baseball team played a tough game, after they held the Cloquet Lumberjacks to 3 runs, then losing to the Lumberjacks in overtime. Senior Hayden Smith was the leading scorer for the Varsity baseball team. 

“It feels good to be the leading scorer, and know that as the leadoff man, the lineup is working as designed, however, we need to score more runs throughout our lineup to be effective and win the close games,” said Smith.

The varsity baseball team plays again on Apr. 21, 2023 in Chippewa Falls, hoping to get a win.
