The girl’s varsity basketball team lost to the Marshall Hilltoppers 73-53 Tuesday, Jan.7, at the Spartan Arena. The leading scorer was senior Kaileigh Miller, who dropped 22 points, with 16 of them coming in the second half. Freshman Savannah Leopold scored nine and Emma Raye chipped in with seven. The varsity is currently sitting 4-7 on the season and will face the Duluth East Greyhounds Thursday, Jan.9, at East High School at 5:30 P.M.
