With the return of the Spartan Blankets after not having them the past year, stress ran high for business teacher Heidi Sigfrids trying to get them here before winter break.

After much persistence, Sigfrids announced that they were coming back. The process was more complicated than just ordering them and hoping for the best. It took many phone calls to get them here.

Sigfrids worked the last few days calling and figuring out a way to get the blankets to the high school before the break. She was paired with a customer service representative named Steve who was very helpful.

“Steve convinced the driver that had the Spartan Blankets to drive the eight hours straight instead of taking a break that the eleven hours allowed,” Sigfrids said.

This allowed for both Sigfrids’ husband and her father to pick up the Spartan Blankets from Burnsville, MN at 11:50 am today.

The blankets will cost $60 each and will be sold at the Spartan Shack located in the link after school Dec. 22 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. and will not be sold again until Jan. 3. Cash, check and credit card will be accepted forms of payment.
