Superior Spartan girls hockey had a tough loss with a score of 0-6 against Proctor/Hermantown on Thursday night. While it may appear like a blowout, the girls were sorely lacking some of their key players. Four starters were out of the game with different injuries and sickness. Backup goalie, Kat Casper had to play because the original goalie Autumn Siers had a separated AC joint. Senior captain Alee Milinkovich had to play with a cast due to a broken finger.

Due to the players being gone, the team had to stick with more defense than offense. And couple of non starters had to play to fill in the rest of the spots for people who were missing.
