Anna Theien is a counselor at Superior High School. She works with kids with last names starting with L-P. She has made a huge impact and has had many influences on the current and former Spartans.
Theien has been a counselor for Superior High School for only three years now, yet she has made an everlasting impact on the students she has helped. Theien is always going above and beyond for her job but when she’s not working she loves to go hiking with her dog, being out in nature, gardening, traveling, and exploring. She’s also very passionate about self improvement, likes to challenge herself, and looks at life as a journey.
She always makes sure to have a safe space for students to go for any reason no matter what and she is always willing to help out and she always makes sure to give kids a push whenever they need it.
“She’s really chill, she’s also really nice, she never gets angry. And she taught me that it’s always okay to reach out,” senior Edward Nelson said.
She’s always there to help with anything, whether it’s you needing help with your senior project, help getting in touch with a teacher, scheduling issues with your classes, or even if you just need to talk about something for a bit.
“Jokes aside, her office was a pretty good space to just kinda unwind and actually get some work done,” said former student Bayne “Procrastinator” Lewis.
Theien has had such a big influence on the current and former students in the Superior High School, and what she has done will not be forgotten by them anytime soon. Many former students still talk about how much she has helped them to this day, and if it wasn’t for her, they most likely wouldn’t be where they are today.
