Girls Soccer
On Monday, May 19, the Spartans shutout the Hayward Hurricanes with a 4-0 win on their senior night. Senior captain Brynn Johnson led the team with two goals, senior captains Anna Manion and Ava Hirvela both ended the game with one goal each.
The Spartans were back in action on Tuesday, May 20, playing at home vs the New Richmond Tigers. The Spartans lost in the end with a score of 3-2, which broke the six game win streak that the team held. Seniors Annabel Manion and Brynn Johnson scored during the game. The team will be back in action next week in the big rivers conference tournament on Tuesday, May 27 at home vs Rice Lake and Thursday, May 29 at home vs Menominee.
Boys Golf
Boys golf was scheduled to have a home invitational this week, but bad weather prevented it from being hosted. They will be participating in the regional matchup on May 27 in Hudson.

Baseball
The baseball team started off the week playing against the Hibbing Bluejackets. The game started off with a few scoreless innings. The Blue Jackets scored runs early as they took the lead against the team. The Spartans would fall short to the Bluejackets, ending with a score of 11-3. The second game for the Spartans was senior night at home vs the Moose lake Rebels on May 22. The boys started off the game, giving up three runs in the first inning. However, the Spartans would put up eight of their own in the first. After the Rebels came back to tie the game, they ended up winning 18-8. Baseball will be back in action on May 30.

Softball
The Spartans started the two game week off on Monday, May 19 with The Battle for the Bong Center raising money for the Richard I Bong Veterans Historical Center. The first few innings were close, and they ended the game with a 10-2 win. On Thursday, May 22, the Spartans had a 2-12 loss against the Raiders of Hudson High School. This was the last regular season game and they come back home to play the Wausau West Warriors in round one of the playoffs on Tuesday, May 27.
