As we continue to get older, our favorite songs follow us in the same process. Band teacher Daniel Eaton shared his thoughts on his favorite songs and how he continues to enjoy listening to them, even years after they were released.
One of Eaton’s favorite memories connected to a song was when he arranged the Ludacris song titled “Rollout” for a women’s championship hockey game down in the twin cities.
“I love it. I think it’s great. This was that era, the Ludacris thing where you’ve got someone singing and then someone rapping and stuff like that,” Eaton said.
Junior Jayden Bennett listens to “Candy Shop” by 50 Cent while biking to school and when driving with his dad.
“I love that one. I listen to it a lot when I’m working out and I would listen to it whenever I would bike to school. It’s awesome,” Bennett claims.
Another song Bennett likes is “When I’m Gone” by Eminen.
“I love that one. My dad would put it on all the time. I’m pretty sure he had that one on a disc,” Bennett said.
