I asked dean of students Bryan Denninger questions most people would not be asking him during school hours, and this is what he had to say.
What is your dream vacation?
“Dream vacation? I want to go to Alaska. I’m an outdoorsy kinda guy. I like being in the woods, fishing, hunting and all of that but I would really do anything Alaska oriented, maybe even a cruise around that region,” said Denninger.
How do you spend your summer breaks?
“Summer break isn’t really a break for me, It’s a break from high school.” I do a lot of driving, I’ve been driving limousines for 20 years and I continue to do it over the summer to supplement my time and income,” said Denninger.
What would your last meal be?
“Last meal? I am a steak and potato guy, I’d keep it basic,” said Denninger.
What can you cook to perfection? And would you be willing to share the recipe?
“I am a baker, I went to school for culinary and pastry so I have learned quite a few different things. The thing I’m really focusing on right now is scones and I’d love to share a recipe,” said Denninger.
What makes it a good day at school?
“Making as many kids smile when I recognize their faces and who they are,” said Denninger.
