Football players continued their traditions as they gathered together for their last team practice at the NBC Sports Complex. One of the team’s most beloved traditions is wearing their Superior Youth Football League jerseys to their last practice.
“We have had the long-standing tradition since 2010 of our varsity players wearing their SYFL jerseys to practice one day each season.” said Coach Rob Scott.
Another one of their traditions is carrying the seniors off of the field after practice to service their four years of dedication.
“It’s a fun themed day that reminds all of us of the great journey our program is from 3rd grade all the way through 12th grade. We are very proud of our youth feeder program, its history and all of the players, coaches and families that have put an awful lot of sweat equity and passion into making it a great experience for so many kids.” Scott said.
