The Spartan’s varsity football team lost to the Hudson Raiders on Oct. 4, 2024 in their homecoming game. The final score was 48-28.
The Spartans were down 41 points at the end of the third quarter, but they bounced back, scoring three touchdowns and forcing a fumble in the last quarter of the game. Senior right guard Garet Rivord ran the ball in for a 24 yard rushing touchdown in the last eight minutes of the quarter. Jake Lyons caught a 30 yard passing touchdown thrown by senior quarterback Tanner Leno late in the final quarter. The Spartans made a fumble recovery on the next drive, resulting in a rushing touchdown by junior running back Taynum Clark.
