Senior Lily Holmquist is one of the most influential people working on theater productions. As a senior, it is natural that younger students would look up to her. Because Holmquist is the most senior and experienced member of the tech crew behind the curtain,it often feels like we are little ducklings being led around by our mother.

As a member of the tech crew, I get to see a side of her that most people don’t get to see.  Junior Arielle Hapy has had a similar experience. 

“Her humor definitely, oh and also very helpful with advice,” Hapy said

Among other things, Holmquist helps out with the music concerts, whether it be with the sound board or programming lights for the concert. I have run into Holmquist talking with the music teachers about sound problems in the Performing Arts Center. 

I just know that when she graduates there will be a space left behind. An astonishing person, who did so much for people without asking for anything in return, is moving up and onto new and greater things.
