On Jan. 11, the girls varsity basketball team battled the Rice Lake Warriors, winning 51-44. Senior guard Kloe Zentkowski (13) led the team, scoring 14 points total, with 10 rebounds. Zentkowski averaged 71.4% on 2-point shots. Sophomore guard Ava Meierotto (1) came off the bench, going two for three on free throws, and scoring eight total points.
“It feels really good, you know, we’ve been struggling a little bit, but we finally got two big wins”, stated Meierotto
