Photographer Ayla Androsky with Ayla Jade Photography is offering free grad pictures for seniors on Wednesdays during the month of October in Yearbook Teacher Christa Kalin’s classroom.
“Everyone deserves a grad picture in the yearbook… everyone matters and everyone deserves that,” Androsky said.
Androsky came to Kalin with the idea of the free grad photos being offered during the school day because Androsky noticed other ideals of how they were being done. She wanted to give back in a way that people in her graduating class did not receive.
“Within the past few years and especially around COVID, there has been a need to find opportunities to get pictures,” Kalin said.
Androsky owns her own business but finds the time out of her day to make these hour and a half sessions with seniors to give them the chances to be featured.
“I want to be here,” Androsky said
Kalin accepted the idea almost immediately because of “how accessible it was for students”. The sessions take place during 4th hour A, B, and C lunch. The last remaining date is Nov. 15.
Androsky will be coming back for the last date next Wednesday Nov. 15 to do final pictures.
If you are a senior and are still looking to take grad pictures with this opportunity given there was an email sent out to all seniors from Kalin regarding options towards the pictures. If you are having trouble finding the form email Kalin at [email protected] or email Androsky directly for more information at [email protected].
