Amanda Kishish is a counselor at Superior High School. Kishish is a person who chose a career where she is dedicated to helping others. She has compassion for others, empathy, and she gives her best advice in every situation. She has been an influential person for many students at Superior High School, and also for staff members. Kishish has the privilege to work with her best friend Bobbijean Miller. Miller and Kishsih have known each other since they were seven years old.

“I think she is kind and goes out of her way to help out all of her students,” said Miller.

Kishish is known for her ability to connect with students at Superior High School, and make them feel comfortable so they open up to her. Kishish takes time to listen to her students that come in and are struggling, she also helps them to find ways to cope with their problems. Kishish helps her students to set goals and achieve those goals, and she also provides the tools that students need to succeed in school and also in life.

Kishsh is also the assistant JV coach for softball, and Kishish has had a huge impact on the students that she coaches as well.

“She gives great advice and is always helping us become the best player on and off the field that we can be. She is such a great human being overall and she influenced me to be better both as a player and a person,” said Sophomore Ellie Braman.

Kishish is helping change the environment at Superior High School so it is a better place for students and staff. She is helping kids to become better people and helping them to be better students.
