The girls hockey team played Hayward at Spooner on Feb. 24, 2023 for the Sectional Final; and, took the win with a score of 7-5. Last season they lost to Hayward to go to state but this year it is the opposite. Renkie scored the first goal for the girls hockey team in period 1 and went on to score later in the game. 

“I’m super happy and excited to see what comes next,” Reinke said.

The girls hockey team has achieved the dream of many; that being one of very few teams that will be making it to state.
