The school band came together to perform a concert on Dec. 10, with the theme of “The Sounds Of The Season”. The theme was inspired by the holidays and winter festivities. 

“You’ll hear the woodwinds gently fluttering, it’s supposed to be soft and remind everyone of snow falling,” said Eaton. 

Some other notable pieces played include “Candlelight Carol”, “The First Snow”, and “How The Grinch Stole Christmas”. 

“I believe that everyone performed beautifully, the song choices were excellent” said Sheran Hikkela, grandmother of a student.

The next concert for the music department is Dec 13, with the orchestra at 7:00.
