Photography classes 1 and 2 went on a field trip to the school forest on Oct. 16 with famous photographer Bob Jauch. Jauch was a senator for 28 years, before leaving to become a photographer. He had been taking pictures during his senator career but wanted to dedicate his life to it.

During the field trip, Jauch helped the students that were on the trip. He gave out ideas as well as helping with the photos themselves. One of the students he helped was Senior and Photography student Jackson Karren. Karren had a fun time on the field trip and would go on the field trip again if given the chance.

“My favorite part about the whole trip was mainly being out in the woods and having Bob Jauch help me with photos,” Karren claims

Karren took a total of 74 photos while on the trip and wishes that he could have taken more personal photos, not just photos that he was assigned to take.
