Stage Set For West Coast Conference Championship

The stage is set for a West Coast Conference classic, as BYU and Gonzaga notch themselves into a championship brawl. Both teams won by commanding double digit scores on March 5, to advance to the West Coast Conference Tournament championship game.

The outright conference champions, Gonzaga, defeated San Francisco 88-60, to advance to their 21st consecutive conference tournament final. Forward Killian Tillie led the Bulldogs in scoring with 26 points.

Brigham Young wowed basketball fans with an impressive upset victory, as they defeated the 20th ranked St. Mary’s 85-72. This will be the teams first conference tournament final berth in three years. Forward Yoeli Childs led the Cougars in scoring with 33 points, shooting 13/18 from the floor.
