The Spartan girls basketball team lost to the Hayward Hurricanes on Tuesday. Hayward beat Superior with a final score of 47-34. Senior Sophie Kintop made two free throws which bumped up the Spartans by two points.

Additionally, junior Chloe Kintop had a total of 8 points in the game. Sophomore Niya Wilson also scored 8 points for the Spartans.

Junior Maddy Myer made a comeback for the Spartans with 3 points making the score 30-25. With 11:40 on the clock the Spartans tried to make a comeback and defeat the Hurricanes but fell short. The next game will be in the SHS gym against the Denfeld Hunters Monday at 7:15.
