On Dec. 19, boys basketball defeated the Solon Springs Eagles 84-57 at home. Coming into the game, the Eagles were the top ranked team in Division 5. Junior guard Isaac Peterson scored 15 points, going 5 for 8 from three while coming off the bench. Spartans handed the Eagles their first loss of the season while improving their record to 5-2. Watch them next at home on Jan. 5 when they face off against the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks at 7:15 p.m.
