“Teamwork makes the dream work,” but for senior Jackson Mueller, teamwork is a way to improve not only his clubs, but himself as well.
Along with soccer and tennis, Mueller has earned the title of FBLA president and been selected as a board member for DECA.
Mueller enjoys being FBLA president, even though it comes with its own set of challenges.
“At first some things were tough to figure out, but the board is extremely helpful with everything,” Mueller said.
Mueller’s best friend, as well as tennis and soccer teammate, Ty Soderlund, acknowledges Mueller’s leadership capabilities.
“Jack’s best leadership quality is probably optimism. No matter what the situation is, he seems to always see the bright side of things, and seeing a leader portray that value consistently gives everyone else in the group a good sense of security and positivity,” Soderlund said.
With so much going on, Mueller has learned a good system to keep everything straight.
“Make sure you know what you have going on for the next two weeks minimum. Things will come up but it is important to plan ahead for everyone’s sake,” Mueller said.
Mueller is thankful for his board as he learns more.
“I am still learning though, and without the board by my side it would be a thousand times more difficult,” Mueller said.
As Mueller continues his FBLA presidency, he remains mindful of the fact that he still doesn’t know everything.
