The Spartans beat the Eau Claire North Huskies on Oct 21 with a score of 33-26, making it their first winning game of the season – and their last to close out. Fans watched in the stands with costumes on to celebrate the theme, “costume party” for this upcoming halloween.

“It’s hard to put into words, I’m pretty sad about it. It’s hard to let go,” said Senior football Captain Grayson Prange in regards to his last highschool football game.

The Spartans pass percentage for the game was over 50% as they completed 9 for 16 passes, earning 157 yards on passes alone. With 37 run attempts, the Spartans put up 188 yards on the ground.

“We’ve got a lot of great kids coming back for the 2022-2023 season”, said Prange.
